DUSTING
Regular light dusting maintains a like new appearance on most blinds, shades, sheers and shutters. Use a feather duster or a soft cloth.
VACUUMING:
For deeper cleaning, vacuum gently with the brush attachment of your vacuum using a vertical or horizontal stroke depending on the direction of your blinds.
HAIR DRYERS:
Use a non-heated setting to blow dust off of window coverings.
PVC, FAUX WOOD OR VINYL BLINDS AND SHUTTERS:
To reduce static cling and help repel dust, wipe the product with dryer sheets. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.
WOOD BLINDS AND SHUTTERS:
Dust and vacuum as specified above. Protect all fine wood products from exposure to steam or high moisture areas. Wood is affected by heat and humidity and can warp.
VERTICAL BLINDS:
Dust and vacuum as specified above. You can also reduce static cling by wiping down slats with a mild detergent (dish washing liquid) and water.
CLEANING WINDOW GLASS PANES:
Spray glass cleaner on a cloth rather than spraying directly on on the window. This will prevent possible damage to your window treatments.
